ZoomViteRapide is a car rental website built to make renting a vehicle quick and simple. Customers create an account, log in, and choose between renting a car to drive themselves or booking one with a chauffeur. Before confirming, they can check the full details of their rental, then complete the booking through a simulated payment step. The site also includes a dark mode, so it is comfortable to use in any lighting.
We built this as a team. I handled most of the backend: the architecture and database design, and the routes for user authentication, the vehicle catalogue, chauffeur rentals and rental detail checks including date availability checks and price calculation. The payment step is a mockup: it walks through the checkout without processing real transactions.
